SHILLONG, May 30: Acting on a recent order of the High Court of Meghalaya, the Ri-Bhoi District Magistrate has imposed an order under Section 144 CrPC prohibiting plying of vehicles weighing in excess of 10 MT and plying of two heavy vehicles simultaneously over the Umiam bridge.
