Knife attack on motorist at city petrol pump; video goes viral

SHILLONG, June 14: In a viral video, a motorist was attacked with a knife at one of the petrol pumps in the city.
Police have informed that the video is two-week old, and the person who is perceived as the attacker in the video is a mentally unstable person.
The mentally-ill person is currently admitted in Meghalaya Institute of Mental Health and Neurological Science.
It was also informed that the incident occurred in Mahari Petrol Pump in Jaiaw.
The complainant withdrew his plaint after it was ascertained that the person is mentally challenged.
It is also learnt that the motorist sustained minor injuries in the incident.
