An inundated portion of a locality in Phulbari after a massive accumulation of garbage had led to drains being blocked. A cleaning drive was undertaken by residents of Phulbari under the aegis of the Phulbari Citizens’s Forum in the main Phulbari Market. A
JCB was put into action in order to ensure the drains were cleared and water flow made normal. Earlier, blockage in the drainage system had led to
nearby shops in the bazar getting flooded.
