GUWAHATI, June 22: Amid high drama in Maharashtra politics, 40 ‘rebel’ MLAs – 33 from Shiv Sena and seven Independents – led by Cabinet minister Eknath Shinde arrived here on Wednesday morning before putting up at a luxury hotel.
According to reports, the Shiv Sena MLAs have blamed Congress and NCP behind their parting away from the alliance, Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), alleging that their leader Uddhav Thackeray compromised Balasaheb Thackeray’s Hindutva ideology for power.
