MSOA to conduct Olympic Day Run on June 25

SHILLONG, June 23: The Olympic Day Run organised by the Meghalaya State Olympic Association (MSOA) as part of the Olympic Day celebrations will commence from the JN Sports Complex, Polo Grounds on June 25 at 6:30 am. A total of 750 men and women runners have registered for the event that will be flagged-off by Commissioner of Sports and Youth Affairs, Meghalaya Dr Vijay Kumar. According to a statement issued by the association, the prize distribution ceremony will be held at 8 am and at 8:30 am, the MSOA’s new office will be inaugurated along with felicitation of the association’s members who have been elected to the national federation. Participants have been requested to report at 5:30 am, and competition t-shirts will be distributed at the venue on a first-come basis.
