RKM students receive certificates

SHILLONG, July 2: Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Cultural Centre on Saturday distributed certificates to its 95th batch of Computer Science and 35th batch of Language students, during a programme in the city.
A total of 1,400 certificates were awarded to the meritorious students of the two disciplines from different parts of Northeast.
The convocation was held in two different sessions — one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
Regional Director, Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research, NER Shillong Dr Prakhar Kumar, who was the chief guest for the morning session, lauded the role of the institute in training the youth in Information Technology and emphasised on hard work, dedication and commitment for country’s development.
Principal & Secretary Institute of Hotel Management Shillong Vijay Kumar, who was the chief guest for the second session, called upon the youths to develop skill set for the benefit of the people.
