Fund for road beautification in South Shillong

SHILLONG, July 31: An amount of Rs 15 lakh was sanctioned for beautification of renamed roads including installation of solar lamp post, among other works which would be implemented jointly by the respective Dorbar Shnong of South Shillong along with the family members.
This transpired during a special meeting conducted by local MLA Sanbor Shullai and members of the Monitoring Cum Implementation Committee of South Shillong constituency with all Dorbar Shnong of Raid Laban (Greater Laban).
During the meeting, which was attended by Superintendent of Police (Traffic) and Additional Superintendent of Police, traffic regulation materials were handed over to ease traffic problems in the constituency.
