Break-in
On July 31 around 2.20 am, Dr D Tariang, AH & Veterinary Officer, Laskeiñ Veterinary Dispensary, informed police over phone that four unknown miscreant(s) broke into the temporary shelter of SPCA at Muchai Raliang, West Jaintia Hills, assaulted the caretaker and also stole 30 heads of cattle. The stolen cattle were later recovered and the miscreants are absconding.

Cattle seized
Party Commander, F-Coy, 4 Bn., BSF, BOP Sanghat, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on July 29 around 5.30 am, BSF personnel detected six heads of cattle from general area near BP No. 1294/MP.
