NONGSTOIN, Aug 4: One person was killed and two others were injured after a timber-laden truck (ML-06-3286) capsized at Umlieh NH 44E on Wednesday night.
All three persons, viz. Phasding Hujon (38), Bleding Hujon (40) and Tesding Ryntathiang (38) were initially injured and were rushed to Tirot Sing Memorial Civil Hospital Mairang.
Phasding Hujon, who was the trucker, however succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
The body of the victim has been, meanwhile, handed over to the relatives.
