One death, 64 fresh cases in 24 hours

SHILLONG, Aug 6: Meghalaya on Saturday recorded one more COVID-19 related fatality while the caseload increased by 64 fresh infections taking the toll of active cases to 706, according to official data.
Recoveries, which has begun seeing slight rise, had outnumbered fresh cases on Saturday.
Total deaths in the state stood at 1,610, while the number of recoveries climbed to 93,511.
