Meeting
A meeting of stakeholders organised by Ka Synjuk Ki Hima Arliang Wah Umiam Mawphlang Welfare Society will be held at Pashang community hall on September 22. The meeting will see participation of Syntung, Mawlang, Siangkhnai, Mawjatap, Nohron, Khlieh Asem, Umsawar and Pashang villages of Mawkynrew block, and will discuss the launch of the micro-scale AR Project in collaboration with VNV to register the project for gold standard.
Seminar
An international seminar on ‘Sri Aurobindo Ghose: Past and Present’ will be organised by Women’s College, Shillong, to commemorate the Sesquicentennial birth anniversary of Sri Aurobindo on August 22 on the premises of the college. Former Vice Chancellor, Sanskrit College and University and Kalyani University, Prof Dilip Kumar Mohanta, will deliver the keynote address.
