Missing man’s body found
Emlang Lamare of Larnai village, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that on August 16, his son Fullmoon Kharsahnoh (25) went missing along with his tourist taxi (ML-04D-1113), while he was on his way from Shillong to Jowai. However, around 2 pm, his body was recovered from Mynkre village, East Jaintia Hills.

Break-in
Christabelle Mary Swer lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of August 17 and 18, unknown miscreant(s) broke into her shop at Umpling Shillong and stole groceries, etc.
K Thawmuit, Secretary, Mawklot Presbyterian Secondary School, lodged a complaint that in the morning of August 8, miscreant(s) broke into the office of the school and stole Rs 12,000 in cash.

Theft
Bishwajit Brahma along with his friend Inder Singh Panda lodged a complaint that on August 15, around 12.30 pm, while they were bathing in Chitimtim waterfall in North Garo Hills, unknown miscreant(s) stole two mobile phones, a ‘wonder boom speaker’, scooty key, and clothes.
