SHILLONG, Aug 22: The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2021 has bagged three awards in three different categories at recently concluded WOW Awards Asia 2022 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai.
According to a statement, while Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival secured gold awards in Festival of the Year-Art/Culture/Lifestyle and Best Tourism Event categories, the silver award was given away in the category of Concert of the Year.
The organisers of the event have, meanwhile, attributed the success to everyone involved in the festival.
It may be mentioned that the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2021 was organised by Meghalaya Tourism and managed by Rockski EMG.
