NONGSTOIN, Aug 29: Police are on the lookout for one Kyrshanlang Marthong of Nongumbah village in West Khasi Hills who has been accused of raping an eight-year-old girl.
The incident was reported to the police on Monday by the headman of Langpih village Dominik Wahlang.
A source said the victim was admitted at Nongstoin Civil Hospital by her parents.
Police have questioned the parents and have launched a manhunt to nab the accused who allegedly absconded after committing the crime.
