Hiker Rohan meets chief minister in city

SHILLONG, Aug 30: Twenty-year-old hitchhiker from Nagpur Maharashtra Rohan Agrawal, who has walked 10,000 kilometres traversing through 26 states in the country to create awareness on plastic and its hazardous effects, met Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma at his office here on Monday.
Chief Minister wished him all the best in his journey.
He set out on this out of the box expedition of his on August 20, 2020, from Varanasi and since then he has travelled 26 states including Meghalaya covering about 10,000 kilometres. He plans to travel out of India till Siberia, which he says will take him close to 10 years to complete. Interestingly, he still continues to pursue his bachelor’s degree while travelling.
