Govt’s free mosquito nets being ‘sold’ in Ri-Bhoi market

SHILLONG, Aug 7: DuraNet, the long-lasting insecticidal mosquito nets provided free-of-cost by the state government, are being reportedly sold in an open market in Ri-Bhoi.
Reports have surfaced about the mosquito nets, which were distributed among beneficiaries, being openly sold in shops at a market in Haat Nongiaw village, Bhoirymbong Block.
However, the same could not be independently verified by The Shillong Times.
