SHILLONG, Sep 9: The inquiry report on the killing of the former HNLC leader was replete with omissions.
Names of the witnesses examined by the inquiry commission, details of the two tactical teams, SOTs and others were erased from the report.
Explaining the omissions, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui said it was done as per the recommendation of the commission.
The CM said the names were omitted since investigation was still going on in some cases.
