16-yr-old in JJB care after ‘partner’ delivers baby

WILLIAMNAGAR, Sep 22: A sixteen-year-old boy from East Garo Hills district has been sent to the care of Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) after his alleged partner, who is of the same age, delivered a baby at the Williamnagar Civil Hospital here on Wednesday.
The boy was, during the day, produced before the principal magistrate on Thursday, hours after the hospital authorities intimated the police about the incident.
