City mentoring institute brings laurels for state

SHILLONG, Sep 25: A lad from Shillong Santosh Sunar, who is an alumnus of Sankardev College, and founder and director of BeTheGuide Indian Mentoring Academy Pvt Ltd, located near Fire Brigade Shillong, has won a national award for the ‘Best Motivational Speaker in India’, according to a statement issued here.
He has also been recognised as the Top 100 entrepreneur of Meghalaya in the first season of Chief Minister’s E-Champion Challenge organised by Prime, besides recognition under Top 100 Inspiring Educator in India, Most Coveted Mentor in India, Leadership and Excellence award in Entrepreneurship.
BeTheGuide on September 21 bagged a prestigious international award titled ‘Icons of Asia Award’ for being the Best Education Startup of the year in an international event Held in Delhi powered by Global Empire Events along with Biznation Tv.
Over 150 delegates from 40 different Asian countries witnessed the event and BeTheGuide was honoured for its outstanding contribution in terms of making motivation speakers, professional trainers, soft-skills, entrepreneurs, providing job placement assistance et al, the statement said. The institute has brought laurels to the state several times in various events and competitions.
