WKH border panel to meet on Oct 6

SHILLONG, Sep 29: The first meeting of the newly-constituted West Jaintia Hills District Regional Border Committee, headed by Urban Affairs Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar, will be held on October 6.
Informing this on Thursday, Dhar said the meeting will chalk out the strategy to be adopted by the committee.
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong, who heads the Ri-Bhoi panel, said, “We need to update the Chief Minister within 45 days. Assam will also do the same and if we can do it in 45 days, maybe the joint inspection can be held.”
