SHILLONG, Oct 10: The Executive Committee of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit in Ri-Bhoi district convened a meeting to discuss strategy for the assembly elections next year, at the party’s district office in Nongpoh on Monday.
Addressing the gathering, State BJP president Ernest Mawrie spoke about strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level in Ri-Bhoi district, and addressing the issues faced by the people.
The meeting was attended by all district functionaries, mandal presidents of the district including district president of the party, Skhem B Swet.
In the meeting, the party’s executive committee resolved to fight to win all seats in Ri-Bhoi in the 2023 polls.
