SHILLONG, Oct 20: The concluding ceremony of the centenary celebrations of the arrival of the Salesian Congregation in the North East will be held on October 30.
Talking to reporters on Wednesday, Archbishop of Shillong Archdiocese Victor Lyngdoh informed that the concluding ceremony will be held at Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians in Laitumkhrah.
He also requested all priests, religious faithful, past pupils, friends and well-wishers to attend the programme.
As part of the concluding ceremony, Holy Mass will begin at 10 am which will be followed by another programme at 2 pm.
He also informed that Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli, the Apostolic Nuncio to India and Nepal, will preside over the Holy Mass in the presence of Rector Major of the Salesians.
He informed that archbishops, bishops, priest etc from across the world will be part of the programme.
The Archbishop also informed that the annual Eucharistic procession will take place on November 13 after a gap of two years.
