SHILLONG, Oct 21: Select lawyers are of the opinion that it is only the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that will be able to properly manage the law and order situation in Meghalaya.
According to a statement, a total of 22 lawyers from different parts of the state on Friday joined the BJP during an event at the State Party Office in Shillong.
During the programme, the newly elected BJP members, while inviting more members from the legal fraternity to join the party, expressed confidence that it is only the BJP that can properly manage the law and order situation in the state.
The newly elected BJP members also placed hope that for a National Law School in Meghalaya under a BJP-led government.
