Cong candidate from Ranikor recommended for ’23 polls

MAWKYRWAT, Oct 24: The Ranikor Block Congress Committee (RBCC) has recommended the name of senior leader Victorialness Syiemlieh as a candidate from Ranikor constituency to contest in the upcoming 2023 Assembly elections.
General secretary of committee Arful Syiemlieh on Monday informed that the decision to field Victorialness was taken during the committee meeting at Rangthong village.
Arful also informed that the committee has recommended the name of Victorialness to the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) as the candidate from Ranikor constituency since she was the only aspirant candidate from the party.
Arful said that Victorialness, who is also a Mahila leader, is a well-educated person hailing from Rangthong village.
