SHILLONG, Oct 31: North Karimganj MLA Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha on Monday urged Director-General of Police LR Bishnoi to protect the life and property of innocent citizens of Meghalaya.
Drawing the attention of the DGP to the recent attacks on citizens during a rally, the MLA asked the top cop to inquire into the matter and initiate necessary remedial measures so that lives and properties of bonafide innocent people of Shillong are protected.
