SHILLONG, Oct 31: State Bank of India Northeast (NE) Circle on Monday joined the nationwide observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, which will continue till November 6.
According to a statement, the theme of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 is ‘Corruption-Free India for a Developed Nation’.
As part of the programme, Chief General Manager NE Circle Arvind Kumar Singh administered the pledge at LHO, Guwahati.
“During the weeklong programme, SBI, LHO, Guwahati along with other offices/branches in the Circle are displaying suitable message carrying hoardings, banners/posters at prominent locations and distributing handouts/leaflets through newspapers. Radio jingles will be played during the week and awareness messages will be displayed on local TV channels to promote a culture of vigilance awareness,” the statement said.
Other highlights of Vigilance Awareness Week include online quiz competition and essay competition among SBI staffers of NE Circle, awareness programmes, et al.
