NONGSTOIN, Nov 6: The construction work of the two-lane road project from Nongstoin-Rambrai-Kyrshai-Chaygoan Phase-1 has begun with widening and expansion under way.
According to site engineer of the National Highway and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL), Robertson Bamon, almost 75% of the earth cutting and widening is complete.

It was also informed that the project is expected to be completed in 2024.
Jharkhand-based Spica Projects and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, which has been entrusted with the project, is said to have been contributing to the villagers and the Dorbar Shnong in many activities. The company is currently helping the Dorbar Shnong Tiehsaw with dumping and filling of soil for the improvement of the playground.
