AAI seeks time to prepare report on Greenfield airport

SHILLONG, Nov 14: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) submitted before the High Court of Meghalaya on Monday that a further four weeks’ time will be needed to obtain the pre-feasibility study report conducted at the new site offered by the state government for the greenfield airport project.
After the AAI had sought the time, the court in its order said the matter would appear immediately after vacation in January, 2023.
The report should be circulated to the State and P Yobin, Amicus Curiae, a week prior to the matter appearing in court, the order said.
The state also confirmed drone photography has been completed.
The matter has been listed on January 30 next year.
