SHILLONG, Nov 29: In an unfortunate incident, two minors were charred to death at Moodymmai, Lumsalah village in West Jaintia Hills.
Police said they received information from the VDP Secretary of Moodymmai village on Monday evening that two minors had lost their lives when an LPG cylinder exploded in the house of Dashisha Talang.
A Fire and Emergency Service team rushed to the spot and found that villagers had extinguished the fire.
The bodies to the two minor victims were handed over to the family on Tuesday after necessary legal action.
