According to a statement, the camp was organised by Seng Samla Lum Marboh, Nongrah, in collaboration with Rynjah State Health Dispensary, and was attended by youths, Asha workers, women and elderly persons.
Speaking during the programme, Nongrah headman Ban Pyngrope aired concern over the situation in Mizoram due to use of drugs.
Maintaining that Meghalaya is gradually headed to that direction, he, however, expressed hope that social evils in Nongrah will be eradicated with concerted efforts of the youths of Dong Lum Marboh, Nongrah.
Appealing to the youths of Dong Lum Marboh to be mindful of anti-social elements, Pyngrope also touched upon the importance of health in physical and mental activities.
