Pre-Christmas celebration in city school

SHILLONG, Dec 9: The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA), Shillong, on Thursday celebrated pre-Christmas with the students and teachers of Rev Amirkha School for Disabled at Mawlai Mawroh, Shillong.
According to a statement, the programme began with an opening prayer by YWCA member Dr Mebada WL Nongbri, which was followed by Bible reading and prayer by YWCA member Diana E Kharshiing.
Bynrap Kurbah, during the programme, led the children in singing Christmas carol. “The programme was concluded with benediction by Tbn EW Kharsohnoh,” the statement said.
During the programme, the YWCA also distributed gifts among the children and teachers of the school.
