Ampareen, Mohendro Rapsang to join NPP today

Shillong, Dec 19: Senior Congress leader Dr M Ampareen Lyngdoh and MLA of East Shillong Assembly Constituency who has quit the Indian National Congress today by submitting a formal resignation letter to the party president, is set to quit as a legislator before she joins the ruling National People’s Party (NPP) in a public function to be held at Fire Brigade Ground in the city at 3 pm today.

West Shillong MLA Mohendro Rapsang who was earlier suspended from the Congress party, is also scheduled to join the NPP in the same function along with Ampareen Lyngdoh.
