DC bans illegal coke plants in West Khasi Hills

NONGSTOIN, Dec 21: The District Magistrate of West Khasi Hills Garod LSN Dykes has imposed an order under section 144 CrPC prohibiting operation of any illegal coke units in the district without valid documents.
This order comes in view of the orders passed by the National Green Tribunal and High Court of Meghalaya.
