Theft
Voter Ch Momin lodged a complaint that on December 20, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-08F-1289) which was parked near Gorkha School, NEC, Tura Road, West Garo Hills.
Deepandar Kaur lodged a complaint that on the evening of December 19, unknown miscreants stole her scooter (ML-05J-7798) from Lower Lachumiere, Shillong.
Riscoverland Lyngkhoi lodged complaint that on the intervening night of December 18 and 19, unknown miscreant(s) stole his scooter (ML-05L-2758) from Demseiñïong, Laitumkhrah, Shillong, East Khasi Hills.
A complaint was lodged that on December 16 around 12 noon, unknown miscreant(s) stole one diesel generator battery amounting to Rs. 12,000 and also damaged the generator’s lock.
James Lyngdoh lodged a complaint on December 16 that base transceiver station (BTS) equipment valued around Rs 1,48,000 was found stolen from the site at Umran Niangbyrnai, Ri-Bhoi.

Break-in
Krishan Das lodged a complaint that on December 19, two unidentified miscreants broke into his house at Oxford Mission Compound, Laban, Shillong, and stole gold and silver ornaments, and cash amounting to Rs 3 lakh. The incident was captured in CCTV.
Idalin Kharsyiemiong lodged complaint that on intervening night of December 14 and 15, unknown miscreant(s) broke into her residence at Lawjynriew, Nongthymmai, Shillong, and stole gold ornaments, two ATM cards and cash.
