SCL Div 3: SMCA, MCC Juniors register wins

SHILLONG, Jan 3 :In the first match between SMCA and Solidarity Club. SMCA won the toss and elected to bat, putting up a total of 134 all out in 18.1 overs. Md. Islam scored 28 of 19 balls. Raju bowled 4 overs gave 20 runs and took 3 wickets. In reply Solidarity were bowled out for 61 in 13.1 overs. Irfan was the pick of the bowlers who bowled 3.1 overs gave 11 runs and took 5 wickets. SMCA won the match comfortably. In the second match between MCC Junior and Combine XI, Combine XI put up 130/9 in overs after deciding to bat first. Jason scored 27 off 41 balls. Siddarth bowled 4 overs gave away 21 runs and took 2 wickets. In reply MCC chased down the total in 17.1 overs scoring 132/8. Prasenjit scored 33 runs off 38 balls. Sunshine bowled 4 overs gave 15 runs and took 2 wickets. Prasenjit of MCC was declared the man of the match.
