John Leslee joins UDP with supporters

TURA, Jan 5: Ahead of the Assembly elections, the United Democratic Party (UDP) recently got a boost in Garo Hills with the induction of former South Tura MLA John Leslee K Sangma and his supporters.
The former MLA, who joined the UDP after quitting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on December 20, was formally inducted into the party at Palm Dale, Balading, in Tura.
During the induction ceremony, supporters of Sangma also joined the party.
