Body found
An unidentified person’s dead body was found covered with a blanket in the parking lot of Bawri Mansion, Dhankheti, on Wednesday evening. Accordingly, inquest and other legal formalities were observed. After completion of post-mortem examination, the body has been kept at NEIGRIHMS morgue room for identification and claim. The deceased is approximately 40-45 years, 5.5 feet tall, and has dark brown complexion. He was found with dark blue coat, black trouser and yellow beads on. Electoral rolls
The District Election Officer of East Khasi Hills has notified that the list of amendments to the draft photo electoral rolls has been prepared in lieu of Pynthorumkhrah, East Shillong, West Shillong, Mylliem, Nongkrem, Mawsynram, Mawkynrew, Mawlai, North Shillong, South Shillong, Nongthymmai, Sohiong and Pynursla constituencies. A copy of the rolls together with the list of amendments has been published.
