Shillong, Jan 9: Senior IAS officer, S C Sadhu on Monday has been appointed as the new deputy commissioner (DC) of East Khasi Hills district replacing Isawanda Laloo who has been transferred and posted as director and secretary of Community and Rural Development department.
The outgoing deputy commissioner will also assume charge as secretary of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare department, according to a notification issued by commissioner and secretary in charge of Personnel and A.R. (A) department, Ripnar Lyngdoh.
