SHILLONG, Jan 8: In the first quarter final match between Golflink XI and YALM CC, the latter won the toss and chose to field. Golflink XI scored 157/5 in their 20 overs. Rahul Singh top scored with 61 off 42 balls. Arun Tamang bowled 4 overs gave away 7 runs and took 2 wickets. In reply YALM managed 142/9 in 20 overs. Sayeed Ali top scored with 33 runs off 18 balls. Md. Ajharuddin bowled 4 overs gave 26 runs and took 3 wickets. Golflink XI won the match by 15 runs and Rahul Singh was awarded the man of the match. In the second quarter final match between XI Star and Sportive Juniors. The latter won the toss and chose to bat first, scoring 209/8 in 20 overs. Rishi Choudhury scored 66 in 49 balls and Bappan Dutta scored 64 off 39 balls. Manaish Sahani bowled 4 overs gave 30 runs and took 2 wickets. In reply, XI Stars were bowled out for 101/10 in 17.1 overs. Deepak Sahani scored 34 runs in 32 balls. Bappan Dutta bowled 4 overs gave away 7 runs and took 3 wicktes. Sportive Juniors won by 108 runs and Bappan Dutta was awarded the man of the match.
