SHILLONG, Jan 8: The United Democratic Party (UDP) will declare its second list of candidates on Monday.
A senior party leader on Sunday said the party’s state election committee will meet on Monday before announcing the second list.
The party leader said the list contains the names of former MLA John Leslee K Sangma who will be contesting against Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma from South Tura constituency and Pilne A Sangma from North Tura.
In the first list the UDP had announced the names of candidates from 32 seats.
