SHILLONG, Jan 8: In a bid to highlight the plight of the youths of Meghalaya, the Mylliem Assembly Youth Congress Convention 2023 will be organised on Monday at Nongkseh Football Ground.
Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress (MPYC) vice president Banphiralang Basaiawmoit informed that the convention will lay focus on the need for investing in various important sectors that will not only empower the youths of the state but also create a politically aware generation for better development.
“The event will also highlight the plights of the youths of the state in the past five years due to the apathy of the MDA Government,” he said.
It may be mentioned that MPCC vice president Ronnie V Lyngdoh, Tata Institute of Social Sciences alumnus Robert Khongwir, Indian Institute Management (IIM) alumnus Manuel Badwar and senior advocate Erwin Sutnga will attend the youth convention as the guest speakers.
