M’laya suffer crushing loss

Shillong, Jan 9: Meghalaya slipped to defeat by an innings and 121 runs against Karnataka on the second day of their U-25 Col CK Nayudu Trophy match in Mangaldai, Assam, on Monday.
Resuming their first innings on 198/5, leading Meghalaya by 127 runs, Karnataka could only add 86 this morning before being bowled out for 284.
A good show with the ball by Manish Sharma netted him figures of 4/77, while Aryan Bora claimed 3/82. Ram Gurung also picked up a brace today to finish with 2/56.
Karnataka’s bowlers then picked up from where they left off and dismissed Meghalaya for 92.
