BSF seizes cosmetics along int’l border

SHILLONG, Jan 11: The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya on Wednesday foiled a smuggling bid and seized cosmetics items worth Rs 4.30 lakh along the Indo-Bangladesh border in East Jaintia Hills.
According to a statement, the seizure was made from Hangaria village in East Jaintia Hills, and the confiscated items were subsequently handed over to the customs for further action.
