Don’t politicise fire incident, says headman of Mawbah

SHILLONG, Jan 12: After a massive fire led to the death of two minors in Mawbah on Tuesday, the Rangbah Shnong of Mawbah has urged that politics should be kept away from the incident as it gives a bad outlook.
“If they play politics at this moment over the incident, it does not look good,” the Rangbah Shnong said on Thrusday, while asking people to refrain from taking credit as everyone worked together to save lives during the fire.
