Shillong, Jan 13: Union minister of state for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar today took a jibe at the ruling NPP while stating that some political parties in Meghalaya which have nothing to show as own achievements, would bask in the glory of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the run up to the state Assembly polls.

The statement came from the minister when he was asked about central projects being renamed and projected as state projects in Meghalaya.

The minister also dismissed the ‘baseless’ allegations that the BJP is anti-Christian saying there is an attempt to create division between BJP and Christian community.

The Union minister also said that the large extent of progress happening in Meghalaya was due to the efforts of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Earlier in the morning, the minister attended a programme in which several women joined the BJP in West Shillong Assembly constituency.
