4 held with gelatin sticks, detonators

Shillong, Jan 17: Acting on a tip-off, Meghalaya Police during a raid conducted inside a forest area of Jalaphet Bri-Sumer in East Jaintia Hills district last night recovered 26 cartoon boxes of gelatins sticks weighing 650 kg and four boxes of electric detonators numbering 200  from the possession of four youths who were hiding in a cowshed inside a jungle.

The police raid party was led by Additional SP, B Jyrwa.

The arrested youths were identified as  Point Chyrmang, Nikalai Chyrmang, Mij Chyrmang and Shanbor Chyrmang, according to a communique issued by East Jaintia Hills district police.
