NCC trekking expedition ends in Shilllong on colourful note

Shillong, Jan 17: The NCC trekking expedition in Meghalaya, NER Trek 1, participated by   nearly 500 cadets from all over India ended with a glittering cultural programme here yesterday.

While the cadets were thoroughly ingrained with a spirit of adventure, they also developed a purposeful camaraderie with cadets from other parts of the country during the course of the trek thus achieving the goals of national integration within the ambit of unity and discipline in NCC, according to a Press release.

The Commissioner Secretary Government of Meghalaya Dr B D R Tiwari and Registrar NEHU S K Dixit graced the occasion, in the presence of officers and all ranks of the NCC NER Directorate and NCC Shillong group.
