Jio, STP hold road safety awareness prog in city

SHILLONG, Jan 18: Reliance Jio employees along with Shillong Traffic Police (STP) on January 14 organised an awareness campaign at Rhino traffic point, Shillong, as part of the observance of Road Safety Week 2023.
According to a statement, the awareness programme, which was organised under the supervision of STP, was followed by a rally.
“Road safety awareness programmes for drivers are being undertaken with an aim of reducing instances of overspeeding, drunk-driving, and driving without helmet and seat belts,” Jio said in a statement.
