Saraswati Puja
The Rabindranath Tagore Club, Laban, on Thursday celebrated Saraswati Puja at Laban Bengalee Boys’ LP School. According to a statement, devotees from different parts of Shillong joined the celebration at the school. On the occasion, members of the club also felicitated CRPF jawans with an utoriyo and a memento.
Election
The Meghalaya Chess Association (MCA) will hold its election of office-bearers for the term 2023-2026 at 10 am on Saturday in Shillong. On the same day, the general body meeting of the MCA will also be held in which six representatives from affiliated district chess associations will participate.
