Party Commander, A-Coy, 4th Bn., BSF, BOP Rongtilla, lodged a complaint that on January 26 around 12.35 am, BSF personnel detected movement of unknown miscreants/smugglers, numbering around 18-20, along with livestock near BP No. 1280/1-S, West Jaintia Hills. The miscreants, however, managed to escape, leaving behind 17 heads of cattle.
Party Commander, I-Coy, 4th Bn., BSF, BOP Sankhat, lodged a complaint that on January 25 around 4.30 pm, BSF personnel detected movement of unknown miscreant(s)/smuggler(s) along with goats near BP No. 1294/2-S, West Jaintia Hills.
Platoon Commander, B-Coy, 48th Bn., BSF, Hawaitilla BOP, lodged a complaint that on January 25 around 5.15 am, BSF personnel detected movement of unknown person(s) in areas under Hawaitilla BOP, BP No. 1286/3-R, West Jaintia Hills. However, the unknown person(s) managed to escape. Later, BSF personnel detected two heads of cattle.
